Divya Nettimi

Divya Nettimi is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Avala Global. She established the firm in 2022, driven by her conviction that we are living through an extraordinary period of technological advancement, with change accelerating faster than ever before. Her vision for Avala was to build a different kind of firm, one designed to recognize the impact of these changes early and to capitalize on the outcomes they create. The firm invests with a concentrated portfolio built for long-term value creation. Avala's strategy is grounded in rigorous research, independent thinking, and a disciplined investment process, which enables the team to identify and underwrite high-potential ideas shaped by the evolution of technology and the forces reshaping industries.

Before founding Avala, Divya spent seven years at Viking Global Investors, rising from intern to Portfolio Manager and leading the firm’s TMT investment team. She also served on Viking’s Investment Steering Committee. Prior to Viking, she spent four years at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, investing in global public equities with a focus on the consumer sector.

Divya holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
